diurnal variation of pressure

diurnal variation of pressure
A variation of pressure during one 24-h period. Except when weather systems are present, there are two maximum and two minimum pressures per day, and they occur at a constant local time every day. From a maximum at 1000 h, the pressure falls to a minimum at 1600 h, rises to another maximum at 2200 h, and falls again to a second minimum at 0400 h local time.
